Ashok Rai
Bhutanese-Nepalese-Artist
Ashok Rai is an artist who create unique visual and contemporary art. He was born and raised in a Bhutanese refugee camp in eastern side of Nepal. He resided in the refugee camp for 14 years until he moved to the United State in 2016. From a young age, he had a deep passion for art. He currently lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He holds a BFA in drawing and painting from the Art Academy Of Cincinnati (ACC). Since he have continued to study and experiment until today. He enjoy using multi-media to make art. He feel that his artwork should reflect social issues and raise awareness through imaginative mean. Also his work shows a vision that he could bring to the entire growth of humanity.
